ED Regional Championship

Date: Tue 17th and Wed 18th of June

Format: League stage on Tue 17th, Elimination on Wed 18th (8pm starts both nights)

Structure: 6 groups of 4 teams. Top 2 from each group + 4 best 3rd placed teams (points and round difference) into 16 team single elim

How it works:

ED creates the teams.
Players who want to be a Captain pm admins (at the bottom of thread). The admins then pick the captain and he/she is set as DCL of the appropriate team.
The captain then picks between 10 and 15 players to join the regional roster and represent the region
ED enters the teams into the event and controls fixtures.

Captains responsibility:
-Captains must have good knowledge of players in the respective region.
-Captains must have access to a 100tick server setup for ED match play for home games to be played on.
-Pick the team - Teams must be between 10-15 players (not including captain)
-Organise players to be on intime for games
-Admin their server/games
-Keep clan overview page tidy (Captains can change TAG/IRC/Website/ServerIP/Main overview - the official clan name, in format: "ED - REGION" MUST remain the same)
-Think up CGS-esque name for their team and put at top of clan overview
-Not to abuse the DCL rights by being childish with respect to roster/clanpage

Main Rules:
- Regional teams cannot join ladders or play pcws. They can only play the specific event matches
- After the event, all players will be removed
- People join the region in which their PC is situated that they play the games on
- Any captains allowing players to join rosters they dont belong on will be owned to the full extent of our e-powers
- Map list, groups etc are TBC.

Wont be able to play anyway i have a level exams 17th and 18th, would advise to change dates as lots of people will have them aswell. (worth a go)

What about people who live in Stirling/Falkirk as they are in the middle of Glasgow and Edinburgh?

Would be better having South Scotland going up to Perth/Dundee and going across to Oban then North Scotland being Elgin, Aberdeen, Shetland Isles, Inverness etc. tbh.
